Chowdhurys' Estates Guest House is located near Rabindra Sadan. It is across the road from the Nehru Children’s Museum and is located in the building next to Haldiram’s Sweet Shop on Jawaharlal Nehru Road (and not AJC Bose Road). If you avail a taxi please tell the driver that you want to go to ‘Rabindra Sadan’. It is about 200 meters from this guest house.

Railway Stations
As there are several railway stations, pickup facility is not available from railway stations. However, the presenters will be reimbursed actual taxi expenses on production of a copy of pre-paid taxi voucher.

Please note this is not the main auditorium of Science City. The Convention Center is the complex to the right of the main auditorium. However it has the same entrance.
The Science City is a well known landmark in Kolkata. If you feel confused please ask someone where it is.

General Information
Kolkata essentially has three entry-points the airport, Howrah station and Sealdah station:
- Delegates coming by air will land at Netaji Subhas Bose International/domestic terminal. Inside the airport building itself, there is a pre-paid taxi booth. We request delegates to buy a pre-paid coupon by giving the destination. It will cost an estimated Rs. 300/- to reach the guest-house and Rs. 200/- to reach the conference venue. A foreign currency exchange facility is available in the airport where one can exchange his/her immediate local currency requirements. We will also arrange for airport-pick for delegates who have communicated this need well in-advance, and received due confirmation from us on same.
- Delegates coming by train (either through Howrah station or Sealdah station) are also advised to take pre-paid taxi services, available at both the stations. However these services don’t function well in late night hours. The indicative fair to the guest-house from Howrah Station would be around Rs. 150/- whereas from Sealdah it would be Rs. 50/-. The indicative fair to the convention center from Howrah station would be around Rs. 250/- whereas from Sealdah it would be Rs. 150/-. No pick-up arrangement will be made for delegates reaching through trains; however we will reimburse the local conveyance.
- A regular transportation facility from the guest-house to convention center will be arranged by us. However delegates reaching in the morning of the conference itself may directly arrive at the convention center.
